Annie Smiles…

Little Annie wakes up at five

To make her home alive

Takes her mom from her crutches

Who don’t even feel her touches

Combs her long messy hair

And with her does the morning prayer

Making sure her day is on

And not at all left alone

She then wakes her little brother

From sleep, just like a mother

Brush his teeth and dress him up

Serves him milk in his favourite cup

Through stories she does the talking

And take him to his school walking

With her baby brother in one arm

And in other, some crops from the farm

Which she barter for some rice from the market

But it won’t even fill half of her lil basket

She then urges back home

To take care of her idle mom

Striving so hard for her loved ones

Hoping everything will be fine once

She had to quit the gradeschool

Not because she was a fool

But to save some money

For her mom and lil honey

They say no pain no gain

Her life is no sugarcane

Nothing at all to smile at

Not even a cute lil pet

Everyday she got something to weep

But she make sure her tears never peep

She smiles in pain and struggle

When this life is one big juggle..

After a long term of boredom becoming a boredom. I think it's time to show up. A young lad who gave upon impressing people, instead loves to share, express and communicate those raw thoughts and vague imaginations with all readers, friends and folks.
